We are exceptionally proud to announce that the Senqu River Bridge project has won Infrastructure Project of the Year at the Big 5 South Africa Impact Awards.
A major structure of this scale, which spans 825 metres and rises 90 metres above the valley floor, requires precise collaboration. PTS-S, alongside our long-standing system supplier OVM, is deeply honoured to have been involved in the success and execution of this landmark Lesotho Highlands Water Project Phase II development.
As the specialist subcontractor on site, PTS-S executed the multi-stage incremental launching of the twin decks from opposing abutments, together with the installation of the post-tensioning and stay-cable systems. This technical scope was successfully delivered by utilising OVM’s globally proven structural systems and engineering equipment.
